A Hyperborean cityscape: snow temples and a winding caravan beneath an angelic figure ascending with a book

Beyond the boreal winds, there is a publisher of enduring works.

Founded twelve thousand years ago, before the Younger Dryas, Hyperborean Press was reforged in 2016 under the leadership of Conan. We publish wisdom literature and contemplative philosophy. We believe certain texts speak across centuries, and we publish them as carefully as the tradition deserves.

Theosis Library

Theosis Library is a research tool of Hyperborean Press for the careful reading of ancient texts. It presents primary sources side-by-side with their original-language text, an English translation, and a photograph of the original manuscript, tablet, or inscription. Nothing is included without a verifiable primary source.

The library spans early Christian writings, the Hebrew Bible, Sumerian literature, and classical Greek and Latin, with special attention to texts on theosis - divinization, the inner spark, and the contemplative traditions that treat the question of what it means to participate in the divine. It is intended for scholars, students, and anyone who prefers to read wisdom literature at its source.
